2012 March - Recorder Lessons begin

Thanks to English and German supporters who donated descant recorders, the school has enough instruments to give one recorder each to 25 children.

At the beginning of Semester 2, Kate began teaching ten Infants 2 pupils to play their recorders. They learnt to play five notes: G A B C and D, and began to read and compose music. The children write their own tunes and perform them for their classmates.

For more information, see Learning to play the Recorder.

More recorders are always needed. To send new or secondhand recorders to the school, see GIVE.
