2010 Medical Check-ups for Schoolchildren
In April 2010, Dr Tadesse and a team of health officers from Debark visited Empress Mentewab School to carry out medical check-ups of the registered schoolchildren and their families.

They worked in the new classroom that is being constructed.
The visit was funded by Andreas Vesper, a German philanthropist, who also arranged donations of medical supplies such as tetracyline eye ointment for conjuctivitis.
Dr Tadesse said, "I learnt humanity from Andreas."
Andreas also kindly helped Kate sort out some of her computer problems by sending parts from Germany.
